For most people, a great trip at Disneyland means experiencing as many rides and attractions as possible while you’re there! This means bypassing long lines whenever possibly by taking advantages of little tricks like using the Fastpass, Rider Switch, (I’ll cover both of these in another article in the near future), and Single Rider Lines whenever possible.
Single Rider Lines is exactly what the name describes – a line for single riders. And in case you didn’t figure it out yet – the wait in this line is WAY shorter. In my experience, the wait is generally very short be between 3 and 10 minutes (however, it does really depend on a lot of variables and sometimes I have waited a good 20 minutes).
If you don’t mind riding alone or sitting next to a stranger (I don’t, and you shouldn’t either!), you can save huge amounts of time on certain attractions that offer this line. I find that it is perfect for parents who want to go on “grown up” rides and take turns with other adults during nap-time (the Rider Switch is another option in this scenario but Single Rider is faster when available), and basically for anyone who doesn’t feel like waiting for an hour or more in the hot sun.
